Juilliard Guest Lecturer...
Seriously enjoyed my time today as guest lecturer in the theater department at The Juilliard School. The topic was the Harlem Renaissance. The questions were insightful, probing and inspiring. We discussed the intersection between music, theater, politics and much more... Photo: A theater production taking place in the basement of the 135th Street library, c. 1920-1930s.

Guest lecturer at Cal State Dominguez Hills
I recently was an invited lecturer at a Music Business class. The topic centered on my transition from the east coast to California. One of the biggest takeaways I hoped to leave with the students is that our goals and dreams can not be contained by our geographic positioning. No matter where we find ourselves, simple things like professionalism, networking and a little bit of luck will always come in handy.

Quinerly featured in the November edition of Downbeat
I was recently asked to contribute my third article for Downbeat magazine,"Transitioning to a New Scene". November 2021 edition. Now available on national newsstands.
